For Parents
The Harmony Code® parent programme builds the mental fitness and inner calm that makes everything in your life, including your family, feel steadier. This is entirely your own work, done for you.
"You've been so focused on your teenager that you haven't stopped to ask what's happening inside you."
What this work is
The parent programme is not an extension of your teenager's work. It doesn't require your teenager to be involved, and it doesn't depend on how they're doing. This is a standalone offering for parents who are ready to look at their own patterns, their own inner critic, and their own responses, and build something more resilient from the inside out.
Using Positive Intelligence® (PQ®) coaching, we work together over three months to help you identify the Saboteurs that are running quietly in the background of your daily life, the patterns that drive worry, self-pressure, over-control, and emotional reactivity, and to replace them with a calmer, steadier internal resource.
This work is backed by neuroscience and delivered entirely 1:1. It is warm, practical, and grounded. And it tends to have a ripple effect, not just on how you feel, but on the whole family dynamic.
The Positive Intelligence® framework
Saboteurs are the mental patterns that quietly undermine how we think, feel, and respond. Everyone has them. The ones that show up most in parents of anxious teenagers tend to follow a familiar shape.
Always scanning for what could go wrong. Perpetually worried. Finds it hard to relax even when things are fine, because the next problem is surely coming.
Driven by anxiety, not authority. Takes charge to manage fear rather than from genuine confidence. Struggles to let others, including teenagers, find their own way.
High standards applied to everything, including parenting. The internal critic that says you're not doing enough, not getting it right, not responding the way a good parent should.
Puts everyone else's needs first, including your teenager's emotional state, at the cost of your own. Struggles to hold boundaries from a place of calm rather than guilt.
Keeps the peace at all costs. Avoids difficult conversations. Finds it easier to manage around the problem than move through it, even when the problem is growing.
Always on to the next thing. Struggles to be present. The busyness that keeps you from sitting with what's actually happening, in yourself or in your family.
The process
Here is exactly what working together looks like from first contact to lasting change.
We start with a relaxed 20-minute conversation, no commitment required. You share what's been on your mind, and we explore whether this approach is the right fit for where you are right now.
Before we begin, you complete the Positive Intelligence® Saboteur Assessment. This gives us a clear picture of which patterns are most active in your life, and gives our work together an immediate point of focus.
Over the first eight weeks, we work through the Positive Intelligence® programme together, building your mental fitness muscle week by week. Sessions are 1:1, online, and structured around your life.
In the final weeks of the programme, we shift into fortnightly coaching sessions, applying what you've built to the real situations in your life, your relationships, your parenting, your sense of self.
Throughout the programme you build a personal PQ® practice that becomes genuinely habitual. The mental fitness you develop over three months belongs to you, long after our work together ends.
The methodology
The parent programme draws on two core approaches, chosen for their ability to create real, lasting change rather than temporary insight.
A neuroscience-backed framework for building mental fitness. The PQ® programme helps you identify the inner critic patterns, your Saboteurs, that drive anxiety, self-pressure, and reactive behaviour, and replace them with a calmer, more resourceful internal state. The change happens through daily practice, not just insight.
Practical, forward-focused conversation that helps you apply what you're learning to real life. Whether that's a difficult conversation with your teenager, a pattern you keep repeating in relationships, or simply the way you talk to yourself under pressure, coaching brings the work into your actual world.
The parent programme runs over three months and is delivered entirely 1:1, online, structured around your schedule.
Programme investment is discussed during your free consultation, where we can explore the right structure and pace for your situation. Couples and co-parents are welcome.
A free 20-minute consultation is always the first step. There is no commitment required at that stage, just a conversation.
